Hunt#13 and ring #3

zeekeys

New member
Not much out there today. This park had a lot of activity yesterday. The only thing that saved the day was this pretty little ring. This is ring #3 for the year.
Thanks for looking and Happy Trails....Z

Yeah! Really great score there!:clapping: lots of those graduation parties at the parks in your area?
Mud

Nice finds, Zeek! What kindo of stone is that in the ring? Don't let me wife see that, she's a ring thief! :look:

Thanks Charles the stone is now soaking in jewelry cleaner. But the stone turns colors: blue, silver, black. Real neat...
Mud they had a few party's going in the park but all must be walking around with out pockets in their clothes???
Stilpony when I come home with some jewelry my wife looks at it and tells me how much it is worth. The good stuff I never see again. But that is good because I haven't bought any jewelry in years for her.:clapping: And she reminds me that I get to keep all the other stuff.
By the way I keep all the little trinkets that I find because the grand kids will ask me for some jewelry and I give them a baggie full of trinkets and they make their own jewelry. They are happy as all get out. Thanks guys and Happy Trails....Z

Yeah..kids now adays...no pockets and no money..sort of like no pot or a window...We are seeing the "cashless society" first hand on these hunts. Its a real treat to find some real silver jewelry amidst all the junk metal jewelry..and when a guy finds gold, its very rare and wondrous event! Think we are sweeping up drops from days gone by, and I'm talking clad here, its getting tough to even find that in great amounts anymore. Well, one things for sure, cant find a dang thing sitting around in the house, and your posts sure get me fired up and out the door! Thanks old Pal!
Mud

Mud it kind of reminds me of when I was a kid. I never had any money in pocket. Unless I found a pop bottle. Then I was rich I had 2 cents. When I was 13 I set pins and peeled pulp and bought me a motorcycle. 1947 Indian Scout.
Like I always say: I am out there coin hunting and if silver or gold show up that is even better. If I was looking for jewelry every day I would be disappointed 99.99% of the time. So I just count the coins and am happy....:detecting:
Thanks for stopping by and Happy Trails....Z

Nice ring and clad. Love that Sept birth stone. CCH

Thanks CCH I didn't know that it was a birth stone ring. It sure has some great colors in the stone. I let it soak for a day and it really looks good now. I bet one of the grand kids will get it for some kind of occasion.
Thanks for those great videos too....
