Hunt#62 Silver and gold color....:sadwalk:

I was up and out early. Was home at 1.This hunt took everything out of me. Got a 925 ring, a gold color erring, brass cross, 1961,1963 nickel, roller skating token and a dollar coin. Had a high tone coin signal but bouncing all over the place. Thinking of Jimtn, I better investigate this one. It was 7 coins stacked on top of each other @ 4". The ring was a 89@5". About killed me to dig that far. F70 Sens@70, Disc@20, Thresh@-3, Tones@3H, GB@74+- , using 6.5" coil. Thanks for looking....Z

Wow, another great hunt, Z. That is a great looking ring. Looks to be a hefty chunk silver.:beers: Ya, we'll all be digging coin spills for a while. There is more out there then I suspect we realize. HH jim tn

Very very nice pile o loot...:clapping: Yep that is a great silver ring too, and good recovery...that 89 signal is sort of out of place...to big for a Q, and too small for a half, it must have given a nice tight ping for you to go after it....good hard workout for you...probably good!
Nice work as usual! Mud

Jim tn sometimes there is a little hint to a coin spill. When the quarter number comes up and a high tone but numbers jumping around it is worth investigating. It is not always a coin or a coin spill just a jumping around numbers junk. :ranting: Sometimes it's a surprise and I love those surprises.

Lurksalot I am hunting in parks/school/beaches that have been hit by many, many guys. And according to some, parks/schools/beaches are hunted out. Sometimes when I start a hunt I can see someone has already been there. That doesn't stop me. I wonder how good was this guy? Most of the time not very good. And when I leave I wonder if the guy who follows me says the same thing and gets the same results as I got? It really helps to know your machine and have fantastic luck like old stumblebum here.

Thanks Mud. The only reasons I dug it was because it was a solid 89 and a high loud and clear signal. I don't remember a 89 signal? I cleaned the ring and it is 2 rings in one. One ring mounted on the outside of the main ring and it moves around the inner one. Yesterday I was at 4 sites and it was taxing on this old guy. I am thinking of taking the day off today if Dave doesn't call me and talk me into going out? Of course with my wife's encouragement to go with him...
Thanks for replies and be careful out there.....Z

Thanks Coilfisher I was thinking about taking off today but my hunting partner called and wanted to go out. So we went hunting.....Z
