Not sure how the last 35 years of metal headers passed this one by. Top signal was strong and probe sang Qtr all the way, 1891 Qtr was down 7". I looked hard for the "D" mint mark but it was not there. You can see from the photo that it would serve us all to refrain from rubbing coins after finding, you can see the scratches caused by this excited action. Cleaning in a little water would prevent this mistake.

You found a great Coin there! Silver is very soft and it will Scratch very easily, thus not giving them the Finger Wipe. I try not to touch the Silver much, since the Dirt will help protect them until I get them home for cleaning. You still got a Fantastic Find and you should be very excited in finding one of those.
