hunter id

Was wondering if anyone has experience with the beach hunter id. Pro and cons. How well is does it compare to other machines in salt water?
Will post this question in the beach forum also.

I had one and i wish i still did have it.This machine found me more on the beach than any other detector i've ever used including different models of minelab detectors.I ran mine in all metal......the detector still gives an indication of what the target is.........and it was deep and sensitive, even on really small items.I compared it many times to a friends excalibur and it was definately deeper. It was an overlooked machine and needed time to get used to but i've never used a better beach machine than the beach hunter.I sold mine because i moved away from the coast so i didn't have any need for it.......i'm now back at the coast and would like another.
The downside of it was the coil was quite buoyant so it was difficult to keep underwater without some sort of weight attached to it.
For general dry and wet sand beach hunting i never used anything better......cracking machine.
I have a Sovereign GT now as my main beach machine and also a seahunter mk2 which are both great detectors on the beach but if i could get hold of a beach hunter i would.👍👍
