Hunting a basketball court with the 10" elliptical...

This park was not marked in green on google or Bing maps so I missed it in the past.
This is my first scouting trip here so I just wandered around this time and I still found clad and a fake gold junk ring so there is probably more.
This is a vid using the F70 and the 10" elliptical on low power settings and rapid recovery and target separation worked very well, but when I return the sniper coil will be mounted.
I found this ring at the end, but if you watch you can see how I hunt for jewelry around these things.
Eventually I will return and grid this thing and try to hit every inch and dig all solid signals and even some not so solid ones because masking is a big problem around these trashy sites, and this one is actually not as trashy as some others I have hunted in the past.

Almost as much fun watching you as it is hunting! I like how you evaluate a location, and set up accordingly with a specific target in mind...as you have amply proved, thats a powerful skill to have when it comes to hunting gold. But since you film your hunts, and graciously post them, you opened yourself up to the following....

I could critique your coil control, (poor), settings, (weak), ensemble, (welders gloves? Whats up with that? do you plan on fabricating a nuclear power plant later in the day with all the scrap?) heck, just about everything you do is "wrong" in some form or fashion, BUT you seem to do right well, much too gold prolific to be written off under the "blind squirrel, finds acorn" headline... and it actually works for you, so in the words of Mr. Rogers and Billy Joel, "I like you just the way you are"

Seriously though! Nice job on what you have been adding here to all of us that use the 70! One of these days it would be really cool to have some sort of F user get together...I also think Fisher should pay all our expenses for it! Just write it off under R&D or something....keep it coming REVIER, who knows how many years we have left to swing coil?

It just so happens I do have some other gloves, Mechanics brand that are black and blue like you usually are after a hunt, but they were wet and these were a free pair I won at one of my club meetings in a raffle.
Yea, some of us are very nice and don't mind hanging out in public with real people instead of living life as a lonely troll under a bridge.
As far as my hunting technique...hey, what works...works.
My brother had an 8 step approach when he was in a bowling league...but he also had a 200 average.
The next vid I post will show me digging gold...I hope.

Ha! I just figured you were also into Falconry when you are not detecting!
I dont wear gloves, they slow me down, plus,the other guys just steal them out of my cardboard box when i leave the comfort of this fine bridge to hunt clad...and its not lonely here, I have plenty of friends and stories, most of them made up!innochio so that keeps me active...

Mechanics gloves give me the shivvers! Somebody may think I once worked for a living, and may want me to fix something...anyway, I come here on the Forum to meet chicks, specifically rich ones, 3 yrs and no takers yet, but a guy can hope right? I'm sure your brother is a fine gentleman, I also have an 8 step approach when dumpster diving, and 200 is my average weight, so we are cool on that regard?.

Lets get some gold this summer! I need a new primary chewing tooth, and this wood one is just not doing it, no matter what George Washington said.

Hey !!!!!!!!! Nice. HMMMMM, 10" elliptical, now your in my neck of the woods. It is still my only coil. Just can't seem to pull the trigger on another yet. Every time I think I'm ready, I learn something new about the 10" and go back to retry my new theory on my old ground. Really enjoyed when you plugged the headphones back in as I am so familiar with that coil it was like being on that hunt myself. Your interpretation of every target was exactly what was going through my mind while watching your VDI numbers including the masked and multi denomination numbers. Way too cool.--- Thanks.
