hunting in Europe

New member
I am looking for people to hunt with in England, France and Belgium. I will be there during the month of September, first in England then France and departing from Holland. My father was a Britt and my mother was from Belgium. I have been hunting for ten years and currently hunt with a Minelab Explorer SE. I will be traveling with my friend Tom and we are hoping to hook up with as many other detectorists as possible. Making great finds is always more fun when you are hunting with other people. My E-mail is cbeniston@sbcglobal.net and my phone # is 925-785-8593. Please pass this info on to any one you know who may be interested.
If you have links to European detecting (searching) web sites please pass them on to me, I would really appreciate it.

Tom and I will be doing another trip to Vermont New York and Pennsylvania at the end of April. If you would like to do some Greens with us just give me a call.

We choose to hunt with Explorers but we are not brand snobs, age is no matter either, we want to hunt with true hunters. so call no matter what you use. This will be our last trip to New England as its time for us to move south for relics and SILVER!!

Please don't bother to respond if you are the negative type,

Thanks, Chris Beniston

Hey Chris, wow, is this an open-invite thing? If it turns into a bus-tour thing, you'll spend all your time as more of a tour-guide babysitter, than a hardcore hunt trip. The only type places I could envision 8 or 12 hunters all at one place, would be ...... like England ........ farmer's fields with pre-arranged permission, on known producing sites. Any other type of "travel around and sample things", would ..... in my opinion, be a crowd of any more than 3 hunters (unless they were aces, patient, hardcore types).

This is the main forum in the UK,post here and you may get an invite to detect.
