[size=large]I Got a couple of days to hunt down in Middle Tn.. I used an LTD while my friend used a standard F-75... He ran AM at 99 most of the time.. I ran in the BP mode with sens. at 99... The LTD was quieter and was great in all the hot rocks...... David found the 12# solid shot and the 6# fragment from a 51 lb. Columbiad...
Dave and I split up and when he started finding drops and the scrapnel, he called me up and told me to join him that he had found a "hot spot."
I asked where he was in relation to where I last saw him... " just come left and you will find me" What I didn't know was that we were on hills that weren't
parallel but were running at 90 degrees away from one another ... so his left was my right... I kept calling , he kept saying " just come left and you will find me." After over an hour, I figured out that I am in an area that wasn't even on the map...something is wrong.... THEN, we figured his left was my right... FOUND HIM..... we worked areas that had been hit literally 1000's of times and we still able to pull out some deep targets... many in fact had the meter jumping from good to bad ...we dug them... good targets over 50% of the time.[/size]..
