Zeek, are you at the point with that F70 that you can tell a dime signal from a copper penny? And, dont those Canadian pennys bang in like a silver dime?

Mud I use 3H because the nickels ring up high tone. I only listen for high tones. I don't watch the meter until I get a high tone. Mid tones that are solid hits I look at. 70-72 is a digger. I don't know if it is a dime or a copper? Why, heck I dig all the zinc's. I find a few Canadian pennies and they do hit that high range. I mostly run on intuition. Sometimes I get a hit and I put the detector down and dig the target without knowing what the vid is. Just know this is a digger. I sometimes up set my hunting partner with this approach. He has a V3I and he does all this pulling trigger and doing a hit from the other side and and and and. I get a hit pin point and dig.
El I have lost 30 pounds since starting to metal detect. Wife says I am as cantankerous as every though.
Jim I see by your posts your not sitting around doing nothing. I am starting to think about the O8 to see if my coins count will double like some say? That would be nice...
