I am looking for a STAINLESS STEEL LONG HANDLED Sand Scoop

Please let me know if someone has one they will let go of!!

What is wrong with aluminum? I use one big aluminum heavy duty and very happy. My diamond is mostly left home.

Aluminum is much lighter, easier to handle.

Check out the 2 banners above. Both of these shops carry stainless steel scoops.

get a alum scoop and bolt on a s/s edge 3&1/2 in wide. leave 1 in out to outer edge bolt the rest in to the scoop use 10-32 screws and nuts .Grind off extra thds. and center punch screw in nut I did this 6 years ago still have lite alum. scoop that has great digging edge

Rover, that scoop is a beauty! How do you like it? Do you find the basket is strong enough with the reinforcing?
I considered buying one of those and then lost track of who sells them.

Cheers,

BDA

BDA...I think I got this one from Mr. Bill at Surfscanner a few years back. The mesh basket works better than holes due to it cutting through the sand easier when sifting.

I have this for sale for one reason.....its angled at 45 degrees, and I like my scoops at 90. I have a shoulder issue, and it's easier for me to use a scoop angled at 90. That's why I use the stealth scoop now.

Find used Boat exhaust from I O most of the go fast boat us stainless tub .Then take it to the local welder it will be a lot cheaper and you will be helping some one Else and you will get what you want Just my opinion. If you cat find what you are looking for the one J C has looks like a good one I like the 45 degree angle

takes a big bite, tough as nails and not as heavy as old scoop i used. sifts sand like nobody's business and holds small targets. but doesn't shed any large stuff either. may be a 30 deg angled handle is in the works.
