i am new here....
my favorite is water detecting.
a lot of lakes here in MN...all freshwater of course, so i use the tiger shark.

how thick is the ice on the average lake up there right now? I come up to the Park Rapids area for the walleye opener each year and then my wife and I hit the area again in Aug. She likes the Aug. temps. better then in May.There is some good md in that area as well. Welcome to the forum. HH jim tn

I'm new here myself as well as to detecting, and just wanted to let you know I have found these forums very helpful and encouraging.

Nice site you got there too, BTW. I just posted a link to a headline in a paper in the UK about a recent find by a detectorist over there in the Minelab X-Terra forum, and thought of it when I saw the "Detecting Headlines" tab on your site.
