I am stationed at Shaw Air Force Base and would like to hook up to detect with someone sometime. I have lots to say so just contact me if this applys to you. I am also looking for a Metal Detecting club near me if any one knows of one Please let me know.

Bill,
Check out Lost Treasure Magazine's webs site (losttreasure.com) and click on either the CLUBS & ASSOCIATIONS or the BUDDIES option on the left menu. You should be able to find some fellow hunters there.
Hope this helps.

Hi Andy
I just got your book on the Advanced treasure hunting
with the Fisher Quicksilvers
I own a Minelab xs but just bought a CZ7a off e-bay
I needed a second good detector and read a lot of good things about the CZs your book helped me to understand the CZs
its too bad minelab could not make the explores more like the CZs they are more rugged, but still light.
Great book.
Don

Don,
I have two CZ's and you can't kill them . . . . deep and solid performers. Glad the book was of help to you . . . . nice to hear people actually read what I put to paper.

Hi Andy
Nice to see a person who writes books and still detectects. I'm very Impressed by the CZ7a so far.
I have used it three times in the last two weeks.
The ground is frozen up here in Toronto so I whent to the local tobbagan hill just to test it out.
It seems for the Canadian Clad to hit in the coin range
it needs to be in the salt mode.
Also the detector seems to seperate a silver coin and a
rusty lg square nail better in the salt mode.
I got a few strong coin signals at 8-10" but could not dig, and it is bang on with nickels.
I managed 1 silver nike mens ring and 1 junk ring 1 chinese token ( not old ) and over $4 in clad.
Im sure I will enjoy using this detector.
What detectors do you use?

I sincerely look forward to Andy's articles every month in Lost Treasure. I enjoy this magazine better than any I've read. Great work Andy.
