I could have died an hour ago,but THE LORD protected me....

I went out for a M/C ride bout an hour ago.I was ridin down a rural paved highway about 12 miles from home,when a DEER ran out from the left side into the road-AND I KNEW I was gonna hit him...AND I DID.....It was a fawn,spotted and the size of a German Shepherd.....I didnt have time to brake,swerve,or anything-just hang on.I went right over the top of him,didnt lose my balance,fall;or anything-AS A MATTER OF FACT;there was NO DAMAGE OF ANY KIND TO MY M/C;OR ME!!!-Poor deer,however,was killed.Give thanks and praise to the ONE that was there with me to bring me through that accident unscathed;GOD IN HEAVEN!!HALLELUJAH!!!
 
I have heard of venison on the grill (car grill)
but not bambi on the bike! :blink:

I did run over a dog on mine, years ago. It was a big dog and it ran out from the left side, same way your deer did. Same result, too. The Lord was with both of us........:thumbup:
 
Glad you are safe. Unfortunate about the fawn though. God protects those He loves.
 
You should have strapped the deer on the back, took it home and made jerky ummm.
 
I told my wife last night about it;ya shoulda seen the look on her face-she said"You were really lucky"-I said "NO-THERE WAS NO LUCK INVOLVED-THE LORD WAS THERE HOLDING ME UP THRU THAT"...The FIRST thing I did after I got stopped and off my M/C was to bow my head and say a prayer of thanks to the LORD,and I also told HIM how sorry I was for killing one of HIS creations.As I was praying,a car or two went by slowly,and there I stood with my head bowed,and eyes closed ,leaning over my M/C .Did they see I was thanking the LORD for saving me??Doesnt matter-i was just giving credit where credit was due....This Sunday in Church;I am going to stand up and testify as to how the LORD saved me on August 12,2009 at 3:00P.M.!!!!:clapping::thumbup:
