I.D. ME PLEASE

THIS IS A COOL MILITARY ARTIFACT THAT I DUG IN WI. IT HAS CANNONS CROSSED, OLD RIFLES CROSSED WITH BAYONET ON THEM. SWORDS CROSSED. AND US. AND THREE WORN NUMBERS ON BOTTOM RIGHT. BACK SIDE IS JUST FLAT. ANY IDEAS WHAT TIME FRAME ITS FROM OR WHAT TYPE OF MILITARY METAL IT COULD BE? OR IF IT MITE BE WORTH ANYTHING?

THANKS
RICHARD

I don't think it's official military hardware, maybe a watch fob. It has the insignia for all the army branches, infantry , artillery, cavalry, etc. Doesn't have an Air Corps insignia, so it may be old. Or maybe from after the Air Corps became the Air Force (1949).

I agree with DougF - I doubt this is military issue. It looks almost like a watch fob of some type. Is there a maker's name on the bale portion (the part that holds the watch band)? That might help you to date the piece. It is odd to see all various branches on one piece including Corps of Engineers as well as the Medical Corps and the ones that DougF mentioned. Neat item.

Thanks DoughF, is a cool find though.------------
Thanks John-Maryland, Thought maybe that was the infantry number. But its buildings. Thank you.--------
TokenDigger,, no name any where on this piece. Thank You

[size=large]don't forget the Signal Corps in upper right ( crossed banners ). will be very interesting to find date of object. i would agree it's a fob and the missing item from the middle would tell ,"the rest of the story"
