I finally found a american large cent!!!!!!!!!! Freshly torn out sidewalk the other day.....only bout 2 inches under the fresh old dirt! To find a large cent in michigan is like finding a needle in a haystack, I thought i would have to go to the east coast to find one!
Found it in front of a really old house with sidewalk freshly torn. WOOOOOHOOOOO i'm stoked! The date is 1844!......hard to find anything that old in michigan these days! When i seen what it was i dropped the detector and ran straight to the aztec to call my brother up downstate, he still dont' believe me ......It must of been angled where the date just got the concrete area which sucks, but i can see the date in just the right light

Going back tomorrow morning to hammer it again!!!!!!!!!!Wish me luck!
