After receiving this prestigious award, I have had to wait for several months to see if anyone stepped up to the challenge it takes to be inducted into the "Society of the Golden Welk". :clapping:


The person I chose for this award had to overcome a lot to rise to the top of the very short list of candidates I have compiled over the last several months. It has not been easy to decide. ;)

Yes....Imagine that..... someone who I see everyday. :shrug: Now I know there will be some sore losers but lets look at his accomplishments :thumbup:


When Bean first came here he was a round mound of a detecting hound :lol:

He up and moved all the way from Wisconsin to take a job in Alabama and carried everything in a El Camino. He has assimilated into southern culture very well. He has actually had a few dates while he's been here. :thumbup: (I was starting to worry ;) ) After a few months in the hot days Ray put his health first and dropped a bunch of weight and got some new front teeth :clapping: He still needs to work on his table manners :bouncy:

BTW...I was going to make a little pallet for it besides the Rebel flag but Butch rushed me and I couldn't finish :rofl: :smoke:
 
.... and that's kinda scary seeing he's in the pallet bid-ness. Think long and hard as to whom will be the next worthy holder of the traveling Coveted Golden Whelk Award. I'm not too sure the award would be enhanced by the addition of some old worn second hand cheese stained teeth from wisconsin. :rofl:
