I have a job which consists of pulling plastic parts off of a pallet on the floor, and feeding them into a robot to trim them out...the other night,I stepped up onto the pallet on the floor to grab some parts off of it;not knowing some kind, thoughtful person stacked them parts on a skid that had a 2 foot diameter hole in the middle that they stacked the parts over, effectively hiding the hole...I grabbed a handful of parts(they are big enough to block yer view of the floor when yer holding them);stepped into that hole in the pallet while walking forward, and DOWN I WENT....I didnt have time to drop the parts I was holding onto, and when I came to a sudden crashing stop on my knees,my left arm didnt stop,it kept on going-END RESULT I severely strained all the tendons/muscles in my L-shoulder/upper arm area.TALK ABOUT PAIN!!!-
-TO DATE,IT WAS ABSOLUTELY THE WORST PAIN I HAVE EVER HAD- I had to ask them at the hospital for something for pain-didnt do much,though...After a ton of x-rays,they determined it was severely strained-Dr. told me it could have been MUCH worse-he said if Id torn the rotator cuff in my shoulder,or torn the tendons off in there, then its time for a trip to surgery land
SO:They put me on light duty till Friday, and some pills, its gettin better SLOWLY...I gotta go now-Bangin on this keyboard is beginning to hurt.Im thinkin Im gonna put a change in for my user name:CLUMSY WARTHOG!!!
