Ive been feelin bad for almost 3 months now-prostate problems;job loss......and everybody -including my wife-is totally oblivious to what im goin thru.I went to my Dr.yesterday, they gotta do a test on me which requires me to be put out,and drove home.I told my wife;she got a look on her face that it was a real bother having to have this done.Everybody-both our families;church family;etc.-know Im not feelin good;still they all expect me to keep on keepin on; regardless of how I feel.my father in law called the other day;all he wanted to know was when Im going to get to their house;and run their snowblower. No how ya doin, nothin like that-Seems to be the catch phrase lately-I NEED HELP;AND YOU ARE GONNA DO IT.I came unglued at my wife today, whom said all I do is lay around and sleep all day.NOT TRUE-Most of my laying around is cause Im sick, not sleeping.she also made the comment about having to hear about me being sick "every@#$%ing day"....SO I told her fine-I will keep it all to myself, cancel my test;being that you think its a bother;and not say another word.....Pray for Warthog, please,Im not at all happy right now....

one has to do what's best for himself and forget the others. You should concentrate on what doctoring you need, get it done, call a cab for the ride if necessary, etc. Bottom line is "sometimes no one will take care of you but you". Now go do thusly, Steve in so az

Steve,
Don't let him get to you, call upon the Lord and He will answer. Trite comments? No, I have walked in those shoes also and it always seemed to get worse for me when I was looking down instead of up. PM me if you would like to talk with your phone number and I'll call you. I have Qwest unlimited long distance, so I just pay my regular bill without any extra charges.

Look up and rejoice. Jesus said there would be trials for those He loves. Be glad He loves you so much.

Your Brother-in-Christ
Mark

WgSteve.....You are depressed right now from being sick and unable to do anything and it is very difficult to do what needs to be done (even going to the dr and having tests and etc) because of illnesses and/or depression! I know for I've been there many times! Just remember, most people get tired of hearing that we are ill (although we truly are...they can't feel our pain and their bodies aren't as tired and hurting like yours and mind! ) Your wife, is thinking
about the Christmas and New Year's holidays and it seems to be a big burden to her and is a heavy weight to carry, because she is unable to help you, but she does need to encourage you to get to the drs and do what needs to be done to be well!

Also, putting them off, will proably make you worse and lead to other problems! Go do what needs to be done for your sake and then when your feeling much better all will work out between you and your wife and others!

I was always so ill from a hemoraging cyst on the ovary that none of the drs could find....even my OBGYN dr. Said I just had tumors that would dry up when I went through menopause, but had to have a hysterectomy at the age of 43, which was five years later after much pain and continual bleeding!

They would give me anti-depressants, for once you need them that is all they think that is wrong with you, even my dr now, but I have been in depression and don't know if the aches and pain brings on depression or vise versa! Anyway I take anti-depressants and meds to help me cope and my body to endure! Sooooo, when you are truly able, if your wife won't take you, get to the dr and get taken care of.....before something worse happens!

My prayers are for your healing and encouragement to feel and do better! Keep on, keepin' on with faith in Jesus and if you can only say, Jesus, help me.....then do so......For He cares for you and all of God's Children! Amen! May God Bless you both and with a good job when you're made well in Jesus' loving, virtous healing touch! Amen! Betty

I will pray for you but you need to keep your appointment for the test!!!!!!!!!!!! God expects you to do these things and take care of yourself so don't let anyone stop you. Take the test.

Steve,

Keep your appointment! Is there someone else who could drive you, other than your wife? Friend, relative... anybody? I can kind of relate to what you're saying. Not a fun place to be in. I'll be praying for you and I hope you feel better real soon. Keep us posted.
