I finally dug my very first target

My first detector was a Bounty Hunter Pioneer 505. I got it in December. The very first "good" target showed as a quarter or possibly a $.50.

Once I determined that the BH wasn't good enough for meteorites AND a lucky hit on a keno machine, I sold the BH(had it for a whole week) and picked up my X-70.

The X-70 has been giving a solid 42 TID.

So, after waiting 3 months for the ground to thaw out....I FINALLY dug up my treasure.:yo::rage:

Awesome!!

A suspect its a part from an alien ship orbiting Earth (cloaked of course). It will certainly compliment the meteorites you may have in your collection.

Well Done! May you live long and prosper.

Congrats MT! Ya, it looks alien to me too! Keep at it :detecting: ... pretty soon that'll be silver and gold comin' outta the ground! :clapping:

My 305 got fooled by a really old gas value of about the same size. I just knew I hit pay dirt, because it was at the right depth and in a really good location.

patience and persistance paid off
