The Windows Vista is different than my ME was.....After I work with pictures some more, maybe I can post them with my poems! Yesterday, I started using my program for typing letters, poetry and etc. Really neat, as I have a lot of templates to use for cards, business letters and other mailings! Well, I have a really pretty pic of some blue flowers by the side of the poem I composed and typed yesterday, but too large to upload onto the CMD Forum! Will be working with scanning and resizing when I can get to it!
Here is the poem to all who want to read it and hopefully enjoy!
SPRING FLOWERS
Spring flowers bloom after the April showers,
Covering like a blanket in the meadow lands;
They sure look beautiful in the daylight hours,
Created for enjoyment by the Master's hands.
Some are fragrant with perfumes so sweet,
Different scents to smell as the breezes blow-
Ever so softly they gently wave to greet,
The Children of God and others who glow-
In the glory of our Lord, as the saints go-
About serving Jesus, our blessed Savior, Who-
Gave us life and brains, His truth to know,
For He created everything, even me and you!
Do look around, as He's given us so much,
The sunrises and sunsets and the sky of blue,
Each flowery petal is tender to the touch,
Velvet yellow and purple Violets growing, too-
In the woodlands reaching up towards the sun,
For warmth of the day before the night appears;
Honoring God of the Universe as they've begun,
Popping up all around, amid the joyous cheers-
Of the new life showing the winter is over,
Covering the ground with their hued beauty,
Among the grassy fields filled with clover,
To take care of them is man's own duty;
So, awaken Spring Flowers, showers have come-
And shine with a colorful glow for it is time,
To prepare and grow by your being from,
Last year's seeds, while the Sunflowers climb-
Tall and green with their large yellow blooms,
Turning to the sun as the day goes by,
Joining in wonderous praise as a bee zooms,
Drinking the tasty nectars which in blossoms lie!
