I found a couple more old buttons at that old beach where I had found the "TREBLE ORANGE " button

Was back to that beach, and found a nice flower-patterned button with back shank( is that what it is properly called? ) intact

Also found a button stamped "TREBLE GILT"...another first for me.,,terrible condition ; back connection is broken, but it was so much fun to find it and see the stamping!

Can't seem to find any Rev. or Civil war buttons like some members are finding...I know that I'd have to get out into the woods and private properties to find those precious buttons....just can't get out there for now, anyway.

Here some pics of these recent button finds.

thanks for looking

I found this Orange Treble Guilt button on 11/27/07 at an old picnic grove. The front side is very worn and I can not tell if it does or does not have an eagle on it. Anyone have an idea how to clean it up? The first picture was taken 3 years ago when I found it. The next two pics where taken today when I dug it out to see if I could make out any further details. Let me know if you find out any history/info on these buttons.

Take Care
Happy New Year
