Check it out super rare.

Is that a chain cent??? Wow awesome!!! What state did you find that in??? It is an incredible find!!!! HH, Tim

WOW............ NICE RECOVERY how deep was it ??

I found it in Carlisle PA. It wasn't deep at all. It was in a cow path that had ruts in it. It might have been 4" deep. I didn't know what it was at first but I knew it was different. Its a little smaller & thicker than a newer large cent. Thanks for looking HH.

Coming from the other side of the pond i am not sure what that coin is or how rare it is ???

Its a 1793 flowing hair chain cent. It was the first large cent minted by the USA. I think there were only 36000 minted. Very rare coin. One in perfect condition sold for over a million dollars a couple of years ago. Mine is in bad shape but its identifiable.

So no one thinks its a rare find here. Its my find of a lifetime. Help me please. You would think Teknetics would say something. Dang when is the last time any one has found a coin like this. Besides England. Im lost.

I still have it. I don't sell anything I find.

WHAT the Frig!...find of a lifetime brother! Surely you would think a find of this magnitude would get more attention...

Put together a new post, with pics and story, and drop it on the Daily Finds forum for everybodys envy!

Stick a friggin' candle up my nose and call me Jack O'Lantern! Holy Crap!:surprised: I am very happy and will show your post to my Wife, so I can buy more gear! :beers: Thanks and congratulations on a once n a lifetime event you shared with us! Blankety blank! what a beauty!

Heh Tim, I agree with Mudpuppy...you should put this in the todays finds forum. You should seriously consider contacting Teknetics about your find....I would be highly surprised if they didnt feature it in one of their mag ads. Come on man....do it! I wanna say ...see that find there? My buddy found that!

I agree, that is about as "holy grail" as a find can get. Simply outstanding recovery. WOW! HH jim tn

Congrats

I sent in what hapened that day. We'll see what comes of it. FT makes one heck of a machine. I use my T2se for coin hunting & my G2 for civil war hunting. Got to love FT.

Cool buddy...really hope they give you some press on it...a find like that sure deserves it. More rare than finding a CS plate

I would love to find a cs plate buddy.

Holy cow! Buddy that is THE FIND! FT should put that front and center on their website. Congrats on the find of a lifetime!

NICE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! That one is going to be hard to top.
