I got me a Delta 4000

I plan to use it in open fields where the coins and jewelry might be plentiful and not deep. Anyone have any tips I can use for this? Any tips will be useful since I have never had a Technetics before. Thanks.

Turn your sensitivity up to around 10. Disc out iron only. Turn volume up to max. Swing the coil nice and slow and steady. Dig the solid signals. That is how you will get the jewelry.

The Delta is a great machine for coins. It will also lock onto silver jewelry very nicely :) I don't have much experience with gold jewelry, but the solid signals in the 45-50 range there as well should treat you right. Keep us in the loop regarding your finds and HH!

I have found more rings with the delta than any other of my detectors..... so far
Great machine!

I understand the Ace 250 and the 350 using the sniper coil can be used for nugget hunting
if your in the right area. I am guessing the DELTA 4000 with a five inch coil and
at 8khz could also do the same thing. Anyone have info on this?
