I got me another First today at the Ghost Town

Today I went back to the Ghost Town that I was at yesterday and got my first seated Half dime. well today I got my first Flying Eagle. That's another coin that I thought I would never find in this area. I guess those Ghost towns are the places to go. I see I need to do some research this summer to see if I can find some other Ghost towns to hit this fall. I also got 2 IH's today. a 1885, a 1863 Fatty and the best one of the day, a 1858 Flying Eagle.

I didn't think I would find one of those either, but I did. You just never know what your going to find and that's what's so fun about this hobby.

Yeah I can't complain, this year has started off pretty good for me. I've already found 3 Walker and those two coins this past week. it going to be a good year for sure.

Mark, those are nice finds indeed. Can I ask a favor? Would you leave the area around Ames uncleaned out? My daughter is about to start her Ph.D. at Iowa State, and I need a few targets left in the ground for when I come out to visit her.

Thanks guys. The Flying Eagle and the Half Dime are two coins that I thought I would never find but I guess you just never know when one of those coins will show up and I got lucky
