The wife had her garage sale, and some guy showed up that had waaay too much knowledge on hotwheels cars...Seems the ones made in the USA are worth a lot more than a Quarter! I sold most of my 40 car fleet inventory from the summer, so that was good, also sold 4 gold rings for 150 bucks... they were the little 10k 2grammers....sold several silver rings for 10 bucks each, sold the grill I found for 5, and I got to metal detect when the wind blew down the wifes cheap jewelry display and she lost some of her stuff in the grass! So even though I wanted to be out swinging coil, it was a good day.

My grandson loves the hot wheels I come home with and he tells me he will never sell them. They are special.
Great work Mud on the sale. If they are just sitting around and you have no attachment to them, why not sell them?
I won't let my wife have a garage sale. She my try to sell me???? Happy Trails....Z

Well I took a beating on the gold, but got it back on the silver. Overall I broke even, the wife got to see some cash from my time spent afield, and I still have a dozen silver rings left. Theres an Irish Festival going on this weekend, so as soon as thats torn down I'll get in there and give it a good sweepin'. Your grandson will remember those cars for the rest of his life, and where they came from, might even tell some good stories about grandpa from time to time..

He use to think I would go to the beach store and get him hot wheels. He even would tell me he wanted a truck the next time I go to the beach store.
Mud I sold my gold and silver last year. Now it is building up time for jewelry again. It probably will take a few years to get to the point of selling again. My wife loved the part that I finally had done something that I made some money. My other big money making adventures always ended up costing us money. She said this is just a hobby and you finally made some money. Kind of tells a lot about my picks for money making adventures.
I like those festival grounds. Sometimes you can pick up a good amount of coins and some jewelry. The F70 will do it job so take it easy and enjoy..... Happy Trails.....Z
