On Monday night at 10:57 my wife delivered our first baby, Camryn. She was 8 pounds, 13.5 ounces and 20.5 inches long. Anyone out there that has kids can understand the feeling I experienced. Metal detecting is fun, but this treasure is priceless.

Wow, she's beautiful!
Congrats to you and your wife. Wow, my baby was only 7 poounds 11 ounces. I can't imagine her having an almost 9 pound baby!

Found that one with your Explorer, huh? Some folks have all the luck. Congrats. She's a cutie.

congratulations on your new addition to your family. she looks wonderful. Seeing the birth of your child is a wonderful experience, isn't it? I have a boy and a girl. I wouldn't trade that experience for anything in the world.

Congratulations my friend!!! Best "treasure" I ever received too- twice! God Bless you and your family always..
Your friend,
Jeff

Makes ya realize just how important that little one is and how trivial everything else is now. Having my first chid changed everything, for the better. Can't remember ever not being a parent. Hope you and your little one the best. May she be the first female prez. and finally get some laws to protect us detectorists rights!

I remember the day I held my first child in my arms.
I realized that life would never be the same. No more going on trips anytime we wanted to, or going out on the town.
Why, our time wouldn't be our own anymore. I mean everything would revolve around our baby, it wouldn't be all about us anymore!
And you know what ? WE DIDN'T CARE ! We would not have wanted it any other way ! When my son was laid in my arms, all of my priorities were immediately, and miraculously rearranged. What a wonderous gift from God a child is. And how blessed are we to be chosen as parents ?
May God Smile Sweetly on your little one and your whole family!

I would like to say "thanks" to everyone here for the nice replies. This is a really nice group of guys. It's rare in this day of people just looking to make money and screw people over at the drop of a hat, to find such a great group of people that truly care about helping each other out. Detecting time may be a little more limited now, but I couldn't think of a better reason to put the Minelab down.
