I had a really great time yesterday when I met up with Craig and Ray at Miller Lumber. Craig gave me a guided tour to show me how they make their pallets. Craig must have a gazilloin dollars worth of modern equipment there to produce the high number of quality pallets they make every day.

Gave Ray and Craig a 2011 White's calendar. They were already drawing glasses, arrows through the head, and other stuff on Vernon's photo.

One of the most enjoyable parts of the visit was having dinner with Craig's son, Cory and of course Ray. Craig took us to a really neat restaurant, housed in an old area home, where we had an excellent meal .... Hey Elson, no dried up old hamberger at this place ..... Ray behaved himself and didn't get into any fist fights at least while we were with him.

Cory works three days a week at Miller Lumber and goes to college two days a week, is making good grades, and says he is really enjoying it .... part of that must be the "tons of hot gals" at his college. He is a really neat young man. Obviously takes after his mom.

Got up this morning to see my SUV all covered up with thick frost .... first time frost was ever on that car since I've owned it. I didn't even have anything to scrape off the frost so I just fired up the engine and heater and let that work while I had an extra cup of coffee.

Those guys really made me feel welcome. Thanks Craig, Cory, and Ray!
