Just had 10 days in Phuket without my detector (wifes instructions),sure would like to try though.
Woke up this morning still a bit jet lagged and went to the beach to find we had a bit of rough weather
while we were away, the beach had changed with a few extra hollows and lumps that makes it good for
detecting.I got a bit lucky and found 6 rings, two of them are cheapies,3 are silver all marked .925 and the third
although not stamped certainly looked and felt like gold,so on the way home I stopped at the gold buyer in the local
shopping centre, they acid tested and verified 24kt gold. Also found around $25-$30 in coins along with a collection of
teartabs and the usual junk.I guess it helps clean up the beach......thanks for looking

"Pretty Good Day"....I'd say. Very nice. HH TomB
