I have a question concerning the VDI readouts for the G2/F75LTD:usan:

My friend Neal has a G2. I have an F75LTD. Both are very fine 1st Texas machines.

My question is that since both machines are manufactured by the same company, are their VDI readouts the same? Are they close?

Totally different. On the f75 a nickel is 28-30, on the G2 it's 58-59.
Yep!!!

This must because even though there FT products the have different frequency's, and different processors and obviously two different machines, makes perfect sense to me.

Saw the problem you had with your old detector. You have some great friends Steve. Hope all is well and you are getting out and finding some great relics. I bet you find the Fisher a lot lighter than that old Minelab.
