I have discovered the epitamy of stupid....it is...the US Postal Service

As a disabled vet I get preference for positions within the goverment....haven't ever used that until now. Decided that I have had it with my career and I would finally apply at the Post Office as we have quite a few rural carrier positions open in Maine.

I could not explain the stupidity of the people who work there. Suffice it to say that when I show up to an interview and the Postmaster knows LESS about the requirments for the interview than I do.....and SHE is acomplete dink about it......you know there is no hope.

How these people ever manage to deliver any mail on time is beyond me.

I have had 3 interviews with different local post offices and all three had women as postmasters. Now I have no prejudice against women as a manage except when they are a b*tch for the sake of being one. Not my fault you are a moron and don't know the basics...or you had a bad day cause it is that time of the month....but don't take it out on me.

One example is this. I show up at a local Post office this morning for my interview...again only an interview. The lady says she needs all my proof of citizenship documentation first. Well i don't walk around with my birth certificate for a simple interview. So I told her she was wrong and that the I/N paperwork is only needed prior to accepting a positions. SHe says I am wrong and that SHE is a certified Postal interview agent and that she must have proof I am me before giving a simple interview.....otherwise how does she know who she is talking to.

Well I don't have 2 forms of ID...so she boots me out.....why I must be a terrosist instead of a disabled vet.

So I contacted the postal HR group and asked why i was not informed I needed this documentation for a simple interview and wasted half my day now.

Well...low and behold I was right....it is not needed for an interview and this supposed certified postal interviewer did not know what she was talking about. HR said we have informed her she was wrong and should not have tossed me out and she must reschedule my interview.

Of course no chance now I would get hired there after showing up the Big B@tch on campus......but dang....what ill tempered misserable morons we have in our governemnt workers.

That was just one fiasco....I will leave it at that one. I had another confrontation on the phone trying to reschedule an interview next week that was setup without asking me if I was available....well my oldest son if finally leaving Iraq this weekend and flies in next wednesday from Germany at the same time as my interview. guess who is more important. Yah.....me too. Should have heard the @ss chewing I got from THAT female postmsater when i tired to get a time change....even AFTER I explained that my son was coming home FROM A WAR YOU DUMB B@TCH.......................gees....just give me a few extra hours douchebag.

after 19 years and was a supervisor at the time. They named a new female Post Master to his office and he was forced out in 6 months. Mean while she has open affairs (some at the office , on the clock) and no one says anything! I don't think I could work there for any amount of money. Now you know why the term "going postal" came into use. I'd call the b___ch back and arrange an interview just to tell her face to face what an ignoramus she is and then spell out why in front of all of her co-workers while they cheer you on in the background.

Your tax dollars at work. Do you really think health care is gonna be any different???

...a Spamalot of carpet munchers. Sorry...but I will not accpet gay as a moral lifestyle. Put me in jail then fine. Censor me fine...but I have had it with the whole gay is o.k thing. I was not raised that way and I do not believe it PERIOD...nor do I support it in the military.
Go back in the closet and shut the door and wait until you stand before God before you come out and justify it. Then we will see who is right...and who is damned.

I got a job as an alternate rural mail carrier a few years back. Trained for two weeks at the local P.O. with a regular carrier at a fair wage. then you get two weeks on your own to learn the job, at a regular rate of pay for the hours worked. OK. All mail has to be sorted and then delivered by the carrier. Those who have been there and have learned the route and how to sort mail, can usually make the route in less time than is allotted. The route is rated on a certain number of hours, and that is the number of hours you are paid for. If you have a seven hour route and can make it in five hours then you still get paid for seven hours. A new hire normally takes much longer until they learn, usually takes three months or better to get proficient. The regular carrier usually takes the heaviest day off, and that is their right. My first two weeks on the job at route pay, they mispaid me by several hours, so, by then, one day on a six hour route for two weeks would be 12 hours, they paid me for eight, but I was working an average of 10 hours a day. When I tendered my resignation, the Post Master said "you're getting better fast", but I didn't see continuing at half pay for several months. It can be a good job, but no one should have to work and not get paid for all the hours they work.

What a bunch of miserable people that work at the post office...and crazy way to do business. The only position I wanted was ain a small Maine town.....a 3 hour route 6 days a week. I don't fill in for anyone it is just a short route.
The one today was in a large city...and I will pass. Plus the city is a real sleaze ball town on the Mass border in NH...full of porno shops, Tattoo parlors etc.

I am Not Coming Down De-greed People out there Just the Morons.

As a whole the people that can do a job do it and move up ladder as as far they can, The ones that can not do it go back to school to go in to Management

About the last 10 years I have built or remodeled 5 university's buildings across Texas. I have found it that a whole lot of people (Morons) with These Degrees think that some one without a degree are not smart enough to do the job. As more of these Morons that get the Good Jobs because so they're degrees and NO COMMON SENSES move up the ladder the more Morons they Hire. IT is getting worst everyday.


I was a Labor Foremen and Asst. Supp. for the General Contractors and worked close with the Inspectors teams from the University (the U) I was working and One Of BIG three here in Texas. This was a 2 year project. After the first year the U started talking to me about replacing one inspectors that was retiring within 6 months after My Job finished. In my third interview they told me I would starting pay was $46,000. a year and would began the of the month after the project raped up. At this he had me fill out the paper work. and noticed I only one year of collage. I would have taken the Job and gone to class no _-----I heaved to have a 4 year degree.

They removed the job offer, because I was not meet the job needs. . It seams I could build their buildings but oversee the upkeep and contraction of future buildings. Come to found out there were people on the job 10 to 15 years with master's Degrees pushing Bloom.

I just laughed at them told them the company I was working for had paid $48.000 in 10 months and they had came to me and offered me the job
