I have news.......

I was saved tonight!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Met with my pastor tonight after church and was saved.

Now the fun begins, life with someone to walk with you always. Really glad you gave your heart to the Lord. Remember always to stay in the word of God. Again Congradulations.

awesome news!!!!!!!! satan has also been alerted and will make great efforts to destroy your faith. the best way to grow and be able to withstand him is to read your bible daily.

There is joy in Heaven *and here too) when a Prodical Son returns home. Jesus came to find a lost sheep...He found you. Am very pleased to call you Brother..Brother in Christ (even though we are also brothers of that thin blue line). Fill yourself with God's Word...it is truth, strength and always to be believed even if we don't understand in our heads we have understanding in our hearts.

God bless you and your family, Ken.

And all the angels danced in Heaven! :) Congrats and welcome to the family! :)

More brothers and sisters then you can count
Get yourself a bible and try to read a little each day ( start with the new testament ). Find a bible believing church and start attending. These things help you grow spiritualy

Once again, welcome
Greg

ask the current church or any other if they practice church discipline when needed. If they say no, for whatever reason, move on. It's a little thought of issue but gives a clear indication whether they are inline with the word of God or not.
I also would suggest start reading in the book of John. It's about 2/3's of the way in the back of the Bible. If you don't have a Bible you may want to get a study Bible in the New King James (NKJV) version or New International Version (NIV). These Bibles are in more current language than the old KJV but the old KJV has more helps books. I'll be sending you a PM.
May God bless you and yours,
Paul(NWO)

Matthew 18:15-17. It should rarely get to verse 17. If the person is truely a son of God, they can only handle being looked upon as non-believer for so long. The person approaching them is to be right with God and the goal is restoration not condemnation. In I & II Corinthians a situation of this magnitude is described and in I Corinthians the church had not dealt with it and the church was chastised by God through Paul.. In II Corinthians the man has been restored. Matt. &: 1-5 enters in here also. Being a newbie in Christ I thought that Silverstar wouldn't be ready for all the theology and would be able to ask the question without having to defend a position. Churches that don't practice Church discipline are showing they don't really care for the word or restoring their brethren.
May God bless you and Sandy.

...welcome to the flock!!! That is really great news!

Well, of all of the "lost" things that were "found" today, yours is certainly the best! Definitely more precious than silver or gold :)

Ya done good bro'!
