I HAVE THE POWER!!!!!!!!!

Imagine a mad scientist standing over Frankenstein raving to nobody in particular. I guess that is kind of like me in more ways than one. The power I am raving about is the jump from dial-up to DSL. We have always had dial up and decided to upgrade after being sick and tired of having pages take minutes to load. Now I can post all sorts of witty comments in the blink of an eye!;) Or for some of you, I can be twice as annoying as I was in the past! :)

I hope we see more of you here! :)

We paid 9.95 for years with Netzero, and to go to 35 was a big jump. Luckily, with my wifes parents living with us, my father-in-law is pitching in to split the cost and it will only be an 8 dollar increase for each one of us per month. But boy.....The speed!!!!!!!!! Its like riding on a fast motorcycle with no helmet on!

Laugh it up I am stuck wwith my free earth link dial up Guess I am too cheap to spend the $ would rathe buy gas for detecting. LOL God Bless CNR

in the way that only a person who has gone through the misery can. Or in the way a politician feels your pain.;)

Hello J, and congrats on the DSL...sure wish I had it but so for all I can afford is Dial-Up which is slower than the seven year itch, so to speak! Don't know where that saying came from, but 'tis used a lot in the Ozarks! ;) I hope to be able to afford it when I sell this house and after Cliff and I move to Cuba, MO., but as high as the prices are rising, I don't know if that will ever be before I see Jesus in the rapture! Gas had come down though, as it was $2.75.9 when we left to go to Cuba and then at a RoadRanger station it was $2.59.9 and when we came home it had dropped to $2.73.9 but it may be going up again! Hope you will be posting more often because you are missed and everyone who doesn't post or seldom does! :)

God Bless!

I know there are others that you will enjoy. Congrats on the high speed access.

I heard tell it was 'slower than molasses in January'

maybe even as slow as an icecycle melting in a freezer

and you should feel blessed, because gas is still 3.09 here in Oregon!!! Here's to hoping that you will be seeing faster internet speeds before you see Jesus!(Although seeing Him will be a pretty good trade off!)

J.

I usually go into work early to check email and stuff and did see some of those through the internet. Thanks for reposting them for me!

Oh, I feel blessed indeed, J, because just to get the gas and to pay for it is a blessing! And you are not joking because seeing Jesus would be the ultimate trade-off from having DSL! When we arise to meet Jesus in the air, even DSL wouldn't have that speed! In the twinkling of an eye we will be with Him forever and ever!

God Bless!
