I have written a kazillion how-to aricles for the treasure magazines so I'm going to post a few for your enlightenment and edification. Here's number

Keep 'em comin' Uncle Willy. I enjoy reading tips to different treasure hunting techniques. My humble thanks to you for all the years of sage advice. You're a great teacher and we are fortunate to have you on this forum. Your years of experience are helpful to the novice as well as the seasoned veteran. Thanks again and Happy Hunting!:)

Great stuff, Bill.

You do a wonderful job of enlightening and edifying, looking forward to (hopefully) many more of the kazillion!

Hi Bill.
I found another little trick with the Ace's Sniper coil in which I do the opposite to what you do around a metal pole.. If I can get the picture up, you can see the sort of angle I hold it at to pick off coins less than an inch from a pole. I do it by holding down the pinpoint button. The coin you see is actually being picked up while ignoring the pole. Tilting the coil away a bit may seem a little odd, but if you get it right, it works beautifully.

I find also that because the sniper coil is a coaxial coil (double shielded) you can detect coins directly under metal framework if you hunt with the pinpoint held down. You sacrifice discrimination, but it allows you to detect coins that most machines simply can't.

Bill,
It is amazing and generous of you to offer so much
VALUABLE INFORMATION FREE
fore the time it takes to read.
I just hope the "Grasses" are too busy clicking
to see the next pretty picture.

Yeah that does work pretty good and one doesn't need discrimination in a tot lot anyway. I hunt a lot of them with my old Compass Coin Hustler TR that doesn't even know what discrimination is. HA..
