Hit two chip totters and a sports field for 3 hours this am..Totters were pretty clean, except for tight to the poles, and out in the main away from any equipment. Got that Pierce dollar coin and a couple of bucks in clad. Then I drove on over to an old school and worked what SHOULD be the snow piles, and some of a soccer field, had no idea I was onto this much clad until I got home! I tell ya, if you ever want to rack up stinky clad in a hurry, try, sens53 1 disc, dp tones, -3 thresh, de mode, 1 notch...the 1 notch knocks out iron, and all signals start in the high teens on up, so you still can hear the foil (gold rings). just stab the heck out of it with a screwdriver! I think the low sens keeps the nearby trash from blocking too, and it seems to be a tighter pinpoint, hence all those dimes. You'll get good 4-5" depth, but most will be surface to 3" I left lots of pennys, but got a 1934 wheatie in the mix. 3 hours is just about perfect for not getting worn out, (or in trouble with the missus) the weather is outstanding here today, low 40's, no frozen ground, and no wind! I drove over to a town out of my jurisdiction, 60+ miles round trip. Happy New Year!

I dont know...it would be tough to live on clad...Its just enough to keep a guy going, instant gratification, learning the tones, sharpening the skills, finding a little gold and silver along the way, until SOME day...BOOM! theres a Brasher in the hole!
