Yesterday went well. The stubble and hay kept me from using the large coil without falsing. No emi problem but running 99 in this ground did not work without ground noise. Switched to the 5 inch coil and the magic began. Started with 80 sensitivity, bp, 15 disc, 3h tone and hit a few good targets in the iron patch. Pretty fast seperation. So I moved to the yard that is loaded with flat iron and square nails. Machine gun iron signals so I went to FA process. Every now and then a high pitch would squeak through. At 8 inches the first target was the old door key. Then another target was a period drawer handle, a flat button was next. Now what was interesting. I checked the targets in DE process, iron low tone all the way.So the FA process did the job. I went to Maryland early this morning and I arrived home at 3 so a quick trip back produced 3 flat buttons, 1 early artillery button, and a large brass trunk plate with key hole. All found today with the 5 inch coil, 85 sensitivity, 3h tones, bp, 15 disc. Pictures later. I will add the solid 10 x 5
elliptical this week to get in and around the stubble. One other thing worth mentioning the detector is well made. Also my partner Adam was kicking my butt early in the day Saturday with his stock ltd with boost. When I checked his targets not a problem hearing them.
