Well today was payday for the new night job, and guess what... No pay for me!!! I paid all of my bills with my with the day job pay, and I was gonna fill up my gas tank and was gonna have a BBQ with some of this pay. I'm still going to a metal detecting hunt and BBQ, but I'm not gonna bring anything (I was going to co-host it though).

I called my regional office, and I have just keep getting a answering machine all day. Prolly took off for the long weekend.... I should of guessed this would of happened, with the first check and all... But the dumb thing is, they have a voided check of mine for direct deposit purposes. I will get paid sometime during the upcoming week, but thats not the point. I was really counting on this pay for the weekend!!!

Oh well, thats enough crying about it, nothing I can do until Tuesday.:stars:

It prolly happened for a reason, you know the saying, "a fool and his money will soon be parted". :rofl:
 
dont you hate that? it happens to all of us. for me its more often then not that im waiting for some money and nothing comes in for a long time. have fun on your hunt....find lots of goodies to share....:detecting:

That sucks----especially for a holiday weekend.Tell your boss next Tuesday that you hope he enjoyed his weekend,because you didn't get paid and had to suffer without for three days.Lay it on real thick about how you couldn't go anywhere or do anything,NO MONEY.And ask him if this is how they treat new employees?

Sorry that your not rec your paycheck spoiled your plans for a great weekend, but like Steve said Go ahead and enjoy it anyway! 'Tis said the best laid plans of mice and men go astray.......and it happens to others and more often than you might think! Be patient and all will work out in the end! :)
