the 7.5 kHz-10.5 DD does markedly improve that machine so we'll see...thanks!

I got 2 order too so I am going to sell one and have a few of my Explorer people around here try the other one. I got a letter saying they were available, but when I called in I was told they have not been received yet and don't know how many was being shipped, but when they get to Minelab USA they will be sent out if there is enough for the orders they have. Now will see how long it will take to get them.
James if you are reading this You and Tim will have a chance to try one when they come in as I want to see what you think of them. I used my new SE Pro with this coil on it last Saturday and I feel these coils will be a hot item, if Dale gets one he may have to add a longer handle on his Lesche digger.

Hey guys I swung one at the shop today, ( I sold our last previous model SE to a guy,) and placed the new Pro model on the wall.
The coil is certainly lightly constructed, so much so that if anybody accidentally steps on one of these new light coils...
Well; ~ I hope it''s not too lightly constructed !
It has great cross members to support the coil, and they form an "X" in the middle of the coil.
It pivots from its center, which gives it a great balanced feel, and it feels like a much lighter SE for sure!
I haven't actually detected with one yet.

the coils will not be in for shipment to dealers for one or two weeks, so we are curecntly taking preorders.

As far as I know it is just the Explorer Pro Coil. You can see a picture of the coil on an Explorer Pro on my website at www.northgeorgiarelics.com.

I had mine out only one time and did find some silver others have missed. I had no problem with the weight like I have had with the other Explorer coils other than the Slimline for the SE and like this new coil and feels once a few of the experienced guys with the Explorers and knows how to set them for the areas they hunt we will see some good feedback on this new coil.
On my reg SE I was able to run my sensitivity higher with the slimline than I could with the EX II with the stock coil, but now with the SE Pro I was running my sensitivity a little lower and doing OK.

When did you get this information from Minelab?? As a dealer I got a E Mail late Tuesday and this is the reply I got : "They are not yet available to ship but as soon as we have received them they will be send out depending on how many have been ordered and how many we have received".
Now maybe they just came in on Wednesday and they will start shipping them out to the dealers. I do hope they did come in, but wont hold my breath until the UPS truck pulls up.

I was in the shop yesterday afternoon and my dealer showed me the Email. At that point I told him to order me one and I waited while he ordered two.
I made him read me the email twice to be sure of what it said.
Now, we are all human and someone could have made a mistake on the other end but the way it is written, I think there in. I will soon know and so will all of you. As it takes about 5 business days to get a shipment from Minelab to NH.
