I just saw Detectorpro's Uniprobe. Anyone know how to make a probe coil for the GQ? hehehe JT

Hello JT,
I'm sure it can be done "make a probe to work on the GQ" Only the probe will have to be a 10 Usecond probe.
I tried the Unprobe probe which operates at 15 uSecond and the GQ is at 10 uSecond, The GQ SS will accept the unprobe with the delay advanced clock-wise a little. Only the unit will false and not operate as it should. Still, It will work and respond to a nickel at 5" to 6" inches.
The Headhunter Pi is a much better choice to use this mini Unprobe probe since both the HH Pi and the probe run at 15 uSecond. No falsing and the HH pi responds to a nickel at 6" inches "both air and buried in the ground"
In the picture, All of my coils use the same connector enabling the HH pi to accept both the 15 uSecond probe and the 10 uSecond GQ coils. It doesn"t work that way with the GQ, The GQ will only accept the GQ coils. The yellow detector is the modified GQ Scott completed and operates well here in California if the Sat speed is advanced full clock-wise and the user advances the delay a little. The GQ housing in the picture has a modifed HH pi circuit board inside with the DD mods and accepts the GQ coils including the DD coil Reg made and the Unprobe probe as well.
Mr Bill sells both the Unprobe and the new pocket hip mounted probe, Both units are great tools and can work with any detector.

I have them in stock.
It has to be used either/or, not both the coil, and the probe at one. It can not be run threw a switch box.
The other alternative is to use the Uni-Pocket-Probe by Detector Pro. I have those in stock also. Will work fine with the Goldquest.

A probe is a probe, is a probe. Not much to see. <img src="/metal/html/smile.gif" border=0 width=15 height=15 alt=":)"> Aprox. 1" dia. X 10" long with enough cable to connect to the control box.
I presently have one left in stock. $150.
