I just talked to Bubba, he said he and Keith are cleaning up and Scott is also, he said some amazing stuff is being found on this hunt :clapping:

from the early 1800's, it may have gold also but he doesn't want to open the back of the purse because he wants to save the purse if he can, Craig has pictures of it

.... and is trying to protect the integrity of the purse as the primary relic before being able to see all that is in the rotted open half as well as what's in the still hidden half. I really have to give him credit and MUCH respect as I would be carefully making that bad boy open to see what's all inside.

You have to really appreciate a find like that .... being a lost or hidden purse from a soldier that obvioulsly did not return to recover his tiny treasure (at that time) ... a piece of history should not be needlessly torn apart to examine the contents when waiting to process and save the purse will eventually reveal the contents .... and save the actual purse find.

WOW! What a one in a lifetime find, and wow, what restraint the finder is showing. He has my respect for sure!
