That said .What First Texas machine has produced the best depth for you overall.

In my dirt it has definitely been the T2 Original with 11" coil. Just curious about some other places, and your experience with FT machines.

Fisher F70.
Coins in the 9" range, a couple of pull tabs at 10", the deepest target I ever dug was a thumb ringer off of an old bicycle bell at a measured 15".

I have a t2 classic, an f70 and had an f75 and in my mild ground all seemed pretty equal when I had them set up correctly. But, I've also never did side by side, same target testing either. But after a lot of mileage, they seem pretty evenly matched.

All those depths in my last post were in almost perfect soil in Kansas.
Now I live in Ala. with way different soil and my usual hunting spots also have unusual amounts if iron.
I lived here before and rarely dug much past the 3-4" range, but with my F70 and even with the sniper coil I have managed to get to about the 8" level a few times and find old way hidden and masked targets which is shocking to me.

I have gone down around 8 inches. I am going to today with a new NEL Big coil in a field where homes were that I have been pounding. Will let U know how deep I get. Try to take a pic of the hole if I get real deep

I do believe Elton, that the 1st F 75, regular version, was the deepest of the three F 75's I have had and have. I dug more 8-10" deep coins with it then these last two 75's. And, a CZ6a and CZ3d I had was right there with it, too. HH jim tn

Yes, I wish I had the patience to work a small coil like the sniper. Do you think that is why you can get better depth as it doesn't have to :"see" as much? I have some trashy areas that I know I could pick through and find a few left overs, but I feel like I'm going backwards with a small coil..lol..

CZ3D that was tuned by Tom with the 8" coil , even in my horrible dirt went down where the Minelabs go with their 11".

I've used them all...... T2 Green, 11 inch coil...... crazy deeeeeep
