This walking stick I bought at a yard sale for 5 bucks. It is not native Indians but maybe better. A lot of research shows it is carved sharks vertebrae and considered scrimshaw. These were made by sailors during the period of 1830 to 1860 and sold at ports or given to relatives. It values at $800. I found out that it came from the estate of what was once a huge Indian artifact and Civil War collection That the man accumulated in the 50s and 60s. I also found out that the guy I bought.it from pulled it from the trash while helping clean up. I'm proudly displaying it w/ my guns coins and relics

Cool score.
