I need a good disc pattern for gold at the beach with my Explorer SE

Hi all, I was wondering if someone can show me a picture of their SE screen with a good pattern for gold at the beach. Or should I run in all metal mode and deal with the burnt up sparklers that will be everywhere. Any advice is much appreciated.
Thanks in advance

In the UK,a similar pattern is great on the beach, taking out the rubbish low down pennies ,I use it with the SE,and only hear the high domination coins ,but most important of all the gold comes in at these settings,
threashold volume 8 or 9
sounds, conduct
responce pitch hold
gain 8
variability 9
limits7
threshold tone 10
deep,
sens 20 but higher if able to ,secret is to keep SE running smooth
noise cancel often .

Hi all,

Could someone tell me what chances one has of finding anything in factory settings and what would be missed.

That''s the Explorer's favorite. Honestly, a really bad idea to black out the top right corner of the screen, that's where most silver rings and coins hit including Silver Reales.

I have had luck with running iron mask about 31 or all metal mode with ferrous sounds......you hear a lot but it is really easy to pick out the good tones. this set up works well for me because most of beaches i hunt are pretty clean.
