I NEED A NEW COIL FOR MY EXPLORER .WHAT SHOULD I BY . HELP.!!!

I have found the stock coil is best.
I hunt every type of land you can imagine, had no problem's as yet, Got a shop window full of Roman' Celtic, Victorian, and load's of relic's from Bronze age to present day. All found with XS standard
Up to you mate but I would save my hard earnt cash.
GOOD HUNTING <IMG SRC="/metal/html/ujack.gif" BORDER=0 width=22 height=15 ALT="uj">

My stock ,10.5 in, coil is on my machine. I just keep getting all readings. when I swing a quarter under the loop, I get no reading. When I use a 7" coil, it works fine and I get no background readings. Thank you very much and Happy Thanksgiving! <img src="/metal/html/cry.gif" border=0 width=40 height=15 alt=":cry">

One of mine went the same way, I left it in the back of the car on a very hot day with the coil exposed to the sun. So I thought it was damaged
It was set up for bronze but no way would it pick up bronze. I swapped the control boxe's over on my explorer's and they both worked fine.
Yet again the fault was the cable joint between the shaft and control box.
I had one that had completely undone, the machine was still humming away and finding shallow coins, but could not find anything That I passed under the coil on the surface, even copper.
It is worth looking at that coupler.
All the best.

THANK YOU. AND HAPPY HUNTING. <img src="/metal/html/smile.gif" border=0 width=15 height=15 alt=":)">
