I found this token friday . I have never seen one with the c over the five. I have searched on google maybe I am just looking over it. Ther used to be an old saloon about a mile away back in the late 1800's early 1900's maybe it came from there. Any help will be appreciated. The token is the same on both sides and is the size of a nickel.

Many states have a book on tokens produced there over the years. Maybe check the local library or historical society for one. However, if it was made out of state then you are stuck. I have the Arizona token book and there's a kazillion of them - use it often. Steve in so az

A Maverick token. They are tokens that don't have a town name or other info to point out it's origin.
Nice find, probably early 1900's.
