I need some settings (emergency)

Hi guys,

I need some settings to look for a small white gold and diamond pendent that my wife lost about 2 weeks ago. I know the spot where it chain was broken she caught the chain but the pendent fell in the grass. I have had the xp deus for a few years but don't get to use it enough to get good with it and adjust it much on my own. I know if the megahertz are not where it needs to be i could miss it because it might skip over it. What do I need to do to give me the best chance of finding it?
all help will be welcome and appreciated. It was made out of my mothers wedding ring.

Merry Christmas

If it was just lost within the last few weeks and just on the grass surface and its made of gold then i would think just running it in Basic1 the 1st prog on power up,also the added bonus she has some indication of the exact location i doubt that you will have any problems finding it,all you need is charge the Deus up,switch on in Basic1 one and it should in 'theory' only take a short time duration to find it.

Why complicate the issue with special settings,it should be a straight forward find i would have thought, good luck and hope you find it straight away.

You also might try Deus Fast.
Running in 18 may pickup small gold better.
your target should be load and clear and lock on to the VDI.
Good Luck let us know how ya do.

A decent pinpointer might also find it fairly quickly.

No luck today....

I have been finding .22 emptys in the area so I am wading thru those even with my pinpointer. I don't know what it will read at. on the VDI

it seems easier to find things when you are looking for something else.

thanks for the tips I also need a little luck.

I would turn my sens down to around 80, Deus fast, turn tx power to level 1.

Concentrate on the solid signals first.

Pendant is shallow and may sound off with these settings vs some of the deeper other junk low conductors like 22 hulls.

If after this the pendant is not found, up your sensitivity to 85 and repeat

Then 90

And after all this turn tx power to level 2 and start over.

Btw get your coil close to the ground when sweeping, the closer the better.

You may want to expand your search area, things frequently for some reason are not always where you thought they were.

turn ur machine to relic mode program #6, nothing will escape this program. If ur running a higher reactivity program u could maybe miss it easy cause of the big loss of depth. Im gonna say if ur finding the really small bullet casings ur not missing anything. throw a nickel on the ground and make sure u dig everything in that range and about 10 vdi below nickel. Hard to say it could even come up like a close dime range depending on size and metals. should be able to set ground balance on tracking unless ur yard is full of junk then manual ground balance. Make good even overlapping sweeps, keeping ur coil always nice and flat to the ground. I would grid off the area. If all else fails switch the relic program to the 18khz freq. if that fails its not where u thought it should be.
