I need suggestions for a trashy mess!

Well, a bit of a backstory and sorry for such an aggregious thread jack... I'm a noob, going into my 5th yr of this addiction....I was at deaths door from a high stress Corp life, went for an evening walk on the beach with my Wife of 35yrs and told her, I am going to have a heart attack or stroke and be dead before Christmas, and I was not kidding...out of the deepening gloam, here came a coil swinger plodding on up the beach, and I said, "You know, thats something I always wanted to try"...Well, we talked to this old guy, and the next day I sourced and found the nearest dealer!....The rest is History!

I got the rig the old guy recommended, (F70) and a cheap scoop, the old guy told me I dont need a Pinpointer or a trowel, just a screwdriver...I had no idea what he was talking about, but listened...told me to "dig 1000 pennies and a 1000 pulltabs as fast as possible" maybe in an effort to discourage me, but I think not...I found my first gold ring doing as he instructed...so thats how I hunt to this day! Really fast and very simple...dont matter, dirt or beach! Then I found this Forum, and learned most guys hunt with a Pinpointer? Whats that? I reckon I'm one of the very few that learned to hunt without one, and this crazy unconventional coil manipulation method was the key...so I'm passing it along, "paying it forward" so to speak...

I'm up early and out and knock it down, sling coil year round on sand, dirt or snow....second year into this I set a goal and got 10,000 coins...sure most were clad, but a few were not...I hunt gold primarily, especially chains and rings...heres some pics of three chains intended as an inspiration to Y'all...just saying a guy can get real good real fast, and a real fast rig like the Deus or F70 is key...I live in a heavily hunted area, I can see the Deus could be a great tool for me on missed old silver...but I hunt gold..or clad, real fast, if it can 'hop coil' like the 70, then I'm all about that!...

Mud, those are some excellent finds! Although we hunt for different targets, we all need the tools to get us what we're looking for...and you may definitely have enlightened a large group of us! I hope the corporate stress has left you completely~

The Deus is without a doubt a special design, way far out in front of the status quo rigs in engineering, ergonomics and technology....all praise duly noted, well justified, and freely given.
I really need to get my hands on one just to see how it fits?...My buddy, and your fellow Deus swinger Diggin-it is just a short drive away, so perhaps someday I will get the chance!...try the hop coil and see if it works...yes, i quit my job and went freelance, so alls good there too!
