I need to get my Sovereign GT Contol box repaired!

Hey guys. Where is the best place to send out my sovereign GT Control Box?
The detector is sounding off on the beach all the time now. Started about 2 weeks ago. I swapped coils and still the same. I need a phone number. Kellyco any good?

I know you'll get sick of hearing this, recheck your battery pack with a voltage meter and try another battery pack if you have more than one. Check the terminals on your box side and the battery pack. At this point I don't have anyone to recommend, but I'm sure more people will read your post and help. HH Ron

This is the guy doing the ML repairs now and his shop is doing a great job about getting them back fast.

Are you keeping the Sov in a environmental cover to protect it from the salt mist in the air? Many people don't think about the mist in the air thinking they are safe since they are not in the water, it enters the controls through the speaker hole on the back and gets on the mother board and starts destroying the IC chips and traces.

Sov is one of those machines that you can put a quart size baggie over and it still snaps on the shaft. Even as a dirt hunter...... if i wasnt using the external speaker i ALWAYS had tape over it. Salt spray in the air like TH said...... affects it over time..... and wiping it off externally does nothing inside.
