I now know why that security guard issue at work has me so :wacko:-:devil::(....

..the things he has said to me in the past-him singing in the bars,dating married women,criticizing everything I say/do/have leads to only one conclusion for me-has him in his back pocket,and he knows what Im telling him is advice from the Most High,......he was bragging about dating married women,and I told him he was breaking one of the 10 commandments-WENT RIGHT OVER HIS HEAD...once,he started comparing himself to GOD,that he was right up there with HIM,and I told him-QUITE LOUDLY-"DONT COMPARE YOURSELF WITH THE ALMIGHTY-NO MAN, WITH THE EXCEPTION OF JESUS CHRIST,HAS NEVER BEEN-OR EVER WILL BE-HIS EQUAL"....he said"show me where thats written down"-I told him "tomorrow,I will bring in my bible,and we will BOTH see what it says"...He just laughed it off,and said forget it,and walked away rather hurriedly...Once,he told me he makes fun of church things,cause he knows thats what gets to me-(he's childish);and I told him "Never mind about what bothers ME-you should be more concerned with offending the LORD".....SO;instead of fighting with him and trading tit for tat;I am doing what I havent done enough for him:I am,and I will,pray for him....Another christian at work asked me why dont you pray for him??This is the ultimate good vs.evil struggle in my life,and every time i try to be friendly,he starts his criticizing/boasting/BS-ing tirade all over again...I know the real source of his static,and I know now it involves higher powers much higher than I.....Im giving this situation to the LORD,we ALL know how it will end...

Good going, WG Steve, prayer changes people and things and God's Holy Spirit does the work! More powerful is God then satan will ever be and remember, the old devil is already defeated. The security guard likes to live by sinning and only Jesus' salvation grace can change him from that to living for Him! The devil in him likes to torment you, because you have God's Spirit within you, for Jesus lives within your heart! Pray and pray is about all you can do and if he asks questions concerning the Bible then give the scriptures to him or show him what the Bible truly says about sin! God loves the sinner but hates the sin and a Christian would not say they are as high and mighty as God Himself! Oh no, that is blesphamy and woe to him as his life is going to be filled with trials of all kinds, maybe sickness unto death; therefore, keep praying for him and I will be praying too!

You most likely won't convince him of anything with your words but your unconditional love will. My Dad said: On a ship in WWII we had this guy who carried the Bible with him where ever he went. He was all ways reading it but never said a word as far as preaching.. We new he was real christian by his acts. He convinced by his deeds. You remind me of that guy you have strength alot of us don't have. Your talk is your walk.

Steve, remember Saul was persecuting the Christians? Then a bright light and a voice said Why are you persecuting me (Jesus)?

The security guard wants to make fun of you and have a laugh at your expense. Remind yourself it is not you he is persecuting and mocking....it is Jesus. Jesus said also what ever one does to one of His children, that person does to Him. God is not mocked. There will be weeping and gnashing of teeth....the security guard is mocking Jesus, persecuting Jesus, making all his actions against Jesus.

Let his actions remind you who it is he is persecuting (not you) but the Lord. As Jesus was persecuted He said we would be too because the world would not accept Him it will not accept us. Do not let your wrath go down with the sun. I know it is easier for me to pen these words than to be the one standing toe to toe with one determined to earn his way to Hell. Remember even on the cross Jesus said Forgive them Father - they know not what they do. Do the same, Father for this security guard for he knows not what he does.

Jesus said to not hate your enemies but to love them because in so doing they heap coals upon themselves Also in loving and praying for them if it changes his heart and he 'comes to his senses' (remember he knows not what he does) and repent all heaven will rejoice at the return of one just as Jesus said a good shepherd goes for the one lost sheep and rejoices when it returns.

Father, the security guard does not know what he does. He does not know by persecuting one of your children he is persecuting Jesus himself. The security guard is not in his right mind for if he was he would not do what he is and has done but would be asking forgiveness and repenting. He would be running to you Father in Jesus name not hiding from you in the darkness and sin. Father please help him to come to his senses. Maybe like Saul you will have to get his attention in some manner. None of us want him to lose his soul and be lost forever. We pray for him in the name of Jesus and seek your Love and Grace and ask for you to have mercy upon him. We ask these things in Jesus precious name. Amen.
