Well Went to the Isle Of Palms for two days and found a cut that part of it was over my head. I had a total of roughly 15 hours of hunt time invested. There was a stretch of about 1000 feet where the sand was cut like I have never seen before at the I.O.P. Good news and bad, I found 1,137 coins in two days, a couple of silver rings, one with a stone in it, a few cheap rings, three gold earings, two silver earings, a cheap broken watch, a necklace, several kids match box cars, glasses, sinkers, even a flash light, but no Gold rings <img src="/metal/html/cry.gif" border=0 width=40 height=15 alt=":cry"> . Well I guess you never know what you will or wont find. I do know I dug so many coins I was getting sick of digging and got a first class blister on my hand from digging so many times, but hey a day of digging beats a day of work any time.

I bought a new scoop. Light weight only about 3 pounds verses that old steam shovel I use to use. None the less my shoulders and wrists were killing me at the end of each day. All in all its the best hunt for coins I ever had in my entire life.
