I only got one thing this evening detecting

Soaked !!! Got caught in a rain storm with high wind and sleeting rain..Of course I parked 1/2 mile away from the area I was going to detect..
Just as I Ground balanced, here come the winds, followed by sheets of the( very wet variety) I might add rain.. Didn't know I could do a half mile in such a short time...I may go out for track

I hope the detector didn't get wet. I carry a garbage bag in my pocket for just such an emergency.

Do a search for GORETEX PARKA
Look for the German Flecktarn Camo Goretex Parka [not jacket -its too short] that is brand new
for $29.95, and must have cost $300. [Get a size larger if you will wear it in winter over cold
weather gear.] Plenty of room for your detector underneath, and goes to mid thigh.
