Its not much but it can give you an idea of how it operates.

Thanks Bill, for taking the time....enjoyed the session.

I assume you were not impressed with the machine.
Can you tell us why? Might save someone some money.

Thanks Bill for the video. Be interested in your thoughts on how it performs once afield. Pretty hard to be impressed, or not, just playing with the settings. HH jim tn

Thanks for the video, looks simple enough. Really like the adjustable backlight (Dave you were listening) and I also like that you can adjust the volume from the menu, as I have found several times that my volume control on my F75 gets adjusted by the headphone cord - lol

Now let's see some hunt videos :detecting:

Thanks for taking the time to do the video. Very well done.

Thanks, I checked it out and it's pretty informative. Congrats on that nice Barber quarter, that was a nice, deep surprise :beers:

hey Bill, appreciate the videos.....could you clear up my understanding of the barber quarter find? apparently you were using all-metal when you found it? and it wouldn't show up in Disc mode?

would appreciate if you could elaborate a bit on this particular find......

cheers.

I was using the Etrac and the F19 to compare signals. I do this a lot especially with a new detector. I guess I should have mentioned that on the video but It never crossed my mind. This particular signal the Etrac saw the quarter but the F19 could only see it in the all metal mode. I then dug the signal with the F19. I also used the F19 on a lot of targets without cross checking them with the Etrac. It did seem to have decent depth but in all reality I probably would have missed the quarter with the F19.

Always love to watch your hunt video's Bill.

I have a few favorites downloaded and watch them on a pretty regular basis (the two F5 vids, and the CZ3D hunts).

To clarify the notch, notch above the disc setting is notch reject. Notch below the disc setting is notch accept. You showed it clearly but had trouble saying it

That Barber quarter was awesome. Just a hair beyond the Disc range of the 5x10 coil, though. I'm looking at my depth chart on coins and you were right on the edge for that coil size and target type. More moisture may have made it hit, I dunno. You didn't show any minerals and the ground phase was in a good place, so I dunno.

If my pinpointer comes in I'll go hunt some fringe depth responses this weekend and see what happens.

Thanks......I had a hard time wrapping my mind around the notch as I was moving it around....Lol. Let me know how your testing goes too.

The Instruction Manual states that the F 19 might not hit so hard on high conductive coins.
It says:

"As a coin-shooter, you will notice that the F 19 exhibits slightly lower sensitivity to high conductive coins, like a US quarter: this is a result of its specialised design to emphasize sensitivity to smaller, lower conductivity metals like relics and gold nuggetts"

I don't know about you guys but I for one am very much looking forward to using it for low conductive coinage and jewelery.

Good Hunting
